How people treat women in Iran. People in Iran treat women, by abusing them, and being beaten. Also just torturing them. I feel like that's disrespectful and women in Iran should be treated with respect, because they do alot in life too. They deserve the best too. Women in Iran shouldn't be treated differently. In this picture below. It shows a women. And I believe it shows us that women wants peace with other people because women are tired of being beaten up. All they want is to have a nice life. Instead of getting tortured a lot. Something I researched was that Iranian laws still favors men, but women in that country are more educated and have a more visble role in life than in mant other Islamic countries, such as Saudi Arabia. And things are getting better, according to the first women to serve as a cabinet secretary in that country.
Are women's really safe in Iran? No women is safe from the domsetic violence. no matter what country or culture she lives in. One in three women will be raped, beaten, or abused during her lifetime. "I remember once he beat me up so hard that fpr a week I couldn't leave the house. There were bruises all over my face and I had plain all over my body. i couldn't go out. And also violence is not just physical, some forms of behavior and comments bring us more pain than physical beating," say Sedigheh. Women are not willing to take a foot outside but Sedigheh has. Which makes her very brave. Sedugheh, that has experienced domestic violence herself for may years, says after her divorce, her husband has tooken custody of their child and prevented her from seeing her own child.
Dress codes. This picture shows how women are suppose to wear there veils in Iran. Something I have learned, is that women have to cover all the body parts except there eyes. Although women wants freedom. Freedom to not wear the veils anymore. IThis is what I have researched is that women continue to campaign for more freedoms in Iran, but the future is a difficult and uncertain one . The restraints on strict dress code ebb and flow, and one of the few things women can do to gain more freedom is to obtain a college education apparently.
Women feel more secure when they go places and are not harassed by leering men. For instance, many women who do not wear the veil are hampered in the expression of their thoughts, but their are veiled women who are able to express themselves freely. Even today women do not have freedom of choice to not wear the veil. Women have been harassed by the "morality police" for not wearing the proper attire in the streets.
Tehran, Iran - Every summer, Iranian polices get tough on the women who violate the country's strict Islamic dress code by adjusting their veils and long coats to try to cope with the rising temperatures. Like many young urban womens out there, when they wear the veils it is not because they are making a religious statement, but because it is required. "AT home, with my friends, I don't wear the scarf, " said Negin, who wore ripped jeans under her coat, which fell well above her knees, her long dark hair falling beneath a bright red scarf. "Outside, O try to look nicw without getting caught".
Women's role in Iran. The role of women in religious society like the Islamic Republic of Iran, pertains simply, to the question of who and what women are. Also women in Iran are complex. Like women elsewhere in the Muslim world, women in Iran suffer legal and cultural discrimination at the hands of a patriarchal society. The women roles in Iran is big also. They have a part in life like the mens in there life too. Such as helping young kids, and making a living for them and herself.
My opinion. On thes topics are very interesting, I have learned that women in Iran get treated badly. And that they need freedom. Not just freedom on how they get treated by on how they dress too. I feel like it's important that they need to stand upi for themselves and have there own voice too! They need to be free from all the disaters in there life.
